Your art is incredibly inspiring! Very unique and very beautiful, each piece really mesmerizes me. Where do you get your inspiration from, what/who influenced your style? Very curious here, hope you don't mind sharing :begone:

Keep do what you're doing, the art world needs more people like you! :w00t:

Thanks for the kind words.
I respond to the photograph that is submitted or I find a picture that inspires me. I respond to accepted beauty, composition and sensuality. BUT sometimes I respond to something beyond the physical…an unknown. It’s never ONE THING. There is no formula. My mood changes and my perspective changes in relation to the moments I am living now.

I do a lot of work for money, but I like to paint Tumblr and DA members to keep up my chops. There’s no rules. The gift makes the subject happy and I get instant love. Simple gratification. I also like the idea of connecting with someone I have never met and freezing that image as a bond between us. No strings, just the gift.

I steal from klimt, schiele, basquiat, street art, voodoo, tribal, howard finster, Toulouse-lautrec, jesus and your mother.

“An intellectual says a simple thing in a hard way. An artist says a hard thing in a simple way:” -Charles Bukowski

the more I look at this the more I find to like!
I love the texturing, the makeup, and how the hair looks.

Thank you. This was an important piece for my wife. It's her father.
